DAIHATSU LH-25 Diesel Engine merupakan produksi Daihatsu motor (Hatsudoki Seizo Co, Ltd) ke 2 yang diproduksi pada tahun 1933. Pada tahun-tahun awal Showa Era (1926-1989) permintaan akan mesin meningkat tajam. Menanggapi kebutuhan ini, Daihatsu mulai mengembangkan mesin diesel baru, LH-25, sekitar tahun 1933.

In the early years of the Showa Era (1926-1989), demand for gas and oil engines was increasing, as were calls for engines with higher output.

In response to these needs, Daihatsu began developing a new diesel engine, the LH-25, in about 1933.

Daihatsu developed a wide range of models for different applications, including civil engineering, power generation irrigation, ice making, factory use, mining, and general purposes.

The LH 25 engine on display was sold to Shiga Prefecture in 1933 for irrigation use and helped supply Water to approximately 750,000m2 of paddy fields.

The engine Operated for 1,000 hours each year for nearly 20 years.
